Why You Might Get Different Packaging... And Why That's a Good Thing
You ordered from us, the box arrived, and... it doesn't look like our usual packaging. Maybe it's got another brand's logo on it, or it's a box that's clearly been somewhere before. We get it, it can be a little confusing. So let's clear it up.
We reuse packaging on purpose
Running a small business means a lot of boxes come through our door, from suppliers, from our own materials, from deliveries. Instead of breaking all of that down and sending it straight to landfill or recycling (which still takes energy), we reuse sturdy, good-condition boxes to ship your order out again.
That's why you might spot packaging with a different brand's name on it. It's not a mix-up. It's not a knock-off. It's just a box that's already had one life, and we're giving it a second one before it gets a third.
Why we do it
• Less waste. A box that still works doesn't need to be thrown away.
• Smaller carbon footprint. Reusing packaging means fewer new boxes manufactured, less cardboard production, and less energy spent overall.
• It's the right thing to do. As a small, independent business, we'd rather make conscious choices where we can than default to "new packaging every time" just because it looks tidier.
What stays the same
Your order itself is always exactly what you paid for... fresh, new, made with care. The only thing that changes is the packaging it travels in. We always make sure reused packaging is clean, intact, and discreet, so there's nothing to worry about there either.
A small thing that adds up
It's a tiny step in the grand scheme of things, but small steps matter. If everyone reused what they could before buying new, that's a lot of cardboard saved.
So next time your order turns up in a box that says something other than ours.... that's us, doing our bit.
Thanks for being part of it.
